In the Summer I travelled to Wiltshire to photograph Megan & Patrick's wedding at Casterley Barn. Situated on the edge of Salisbury Plain, Casterley Barn is a new wedding venue and is absolutely stunning With its breathtaking views over the Pewsey Vale it's the perfect setting for a wonderful day.
Megan's Bridal prep took place a 10 minute drive away from the venue at a nearby Air B&B called Southcott Cottage.
Megan, who owns Beauty Full Time in Marlborough was lovely to work with.
Megan's beautiful flowers were created by the extremely talented Kathryn from Blossom Tree Flowers in nearby Market Lavington.
I often tell people that as a photographer I much prefer cloudy overcast days rather than blue skies with a bright sun. This is because the clouds act like a big diffuser and this creates much softer and gentle light. Megan & Pat's wedding was a the perfect example of this.
Casterley Barn is full of so much wonderful natural light that fills its well designed spaces making it a photographer's dream venue.
